Really??? Part 3

There has been a reason I haven’t spoken about BETs “College Hill” for a couple of weeks.

yes, besides finishing projects so I can Graduate,

and yes besides making password protected posts, only to have a game setup nearby…

I have been personally avoiding “College Hill” like the swine flu because there is TOO much drama. it’s not even entertainment anymore… it’s just sad.

from the “phantom vomits”, people threatening others with pool sticks, people getting kicked out, and SOMEONE having bulimia… it’s too much.

I’m not sure how many of you have kept up with my previous posts in the “Really” series. Here’s Part 1, and here’s part 2.

I would like to take the time to say that the views expressed on THIS blog by THIS poster are the views of mine and mine alone. Please do not take my opinions for the absolute truth. where do you come off attacking the new member on the bus as if you’re trying to haze them into your secret order of friends ?

what did this young woman do to you? she JUST got on the bus, is trying to get acclimated with the group (it wasn’t HER fault she came to the show late) who are you to start attacking this woman?

Even IF she did have body odor; your reply wasn’t needed. How are you gonna make an announcement about how you “done cut on da hot wadder”  for someone to take a shower. When Allison decided to come to the defense of the new girl, Kyle decides to turn it up a notch. THEN when apparently Allison goes “too far” he wants to run outside to the beach with a drink and start crying ???  and the “peanut gallery” decides THAT is too far.

REALLY ???

Why is it everyone is willing to tolerate the mess of Kyle, and the MOMENT someone decides to fight back it’s “too much” ??? Kyle throws the race card and no one told him he went too far then…

Someone in the replies for my first blog on “College Hill” mentioned that Kyle is tolerated like “the drunk relative at the family reunion”. I don’t have a family member like that, so I guess I cannot “comprehend” the joy I’m missing… but, If I were to have such a family member, I don’t think their actions would be tolerated as such.  Then again, what do I know ? I don’t write blogs for ESPN…

*not hating on the artist at all, just giving him some free attention.

Do I condone Allison bringing up Kyle’s Family situation? no, not really; things said in confidence should be kept in confidence. However, if you’re gonna make fun of people and try to embarrass them just so you can look good for the “in crowd” PLEASE be prepared for any of your own skeletons to be pointed out.

So, as many of you know… the new season of College Hill started Last night. College hill is the B.E.T. version of “Real World”; but with “more”

last night it was more drama. during the “introduction” there was a student who attends FAMU who fired off the first shot. I’m not going to get into the details of what happened ( you more than likely watched)

Long story short, a person’s sexuality was called out with a sling shot, and to which he replied with an atomic bomb. It was interesting because the facebook community exploded !!! it seemed like the majority of the facebookers were “proud” that he “represented” their school and “stood up” for himself.

REALLY ???

Is that how you want the world to think of Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University ? (Yes, the ENTIRE name was needed) I mean I’m all for famous alumni… but how do you go from the school who performs with prince at the super bowl, to the school of a producer of “Stomp the yard“, to the school of the “fierce” guy who called out the “pageant princess” on the boat on College Hill.

REALLY ???

Some people say he was defending himself and his sexuality, some people liked it because he had “flair”. I guess.

I’m not saying a person doesn’t have the right to defend themselves when they feel wronged/offended; but it’s like he took out a Sledgehammer to deal with some ants.

Oh, and what’s REALLY good with B.E.T. having the cast getting into all types of looseness on the first night???

“Let’s give these college kids some chocolate, strawberries, handcuffs, and whipped cream and see what happens” I bet you this was “his” idea with his “Harvard Humor” (both of these links are extra NSFW)

Ms. “I have a boyfriend” we do NOT approve. You wouldn’t do this on a normal basis, why does the presence of a  camera make it OK ? we all know that if the roles were reversed, you would be ready to break up with your bf and calling him all types of “dog” and “no good”. Don’t be a hypocrite; and yes, you could have politely declined… or act like “Mr. Famu” from earlier that day; it seemed like a good day to shout and yell.

Ms. “I get jealous after meeting you for one night” what is your deal??? you’ve known him less than 24 hours and you’re already ironing his clothes and making his bed? what part of the game is that? and what’s the result? your “boo” comes home and doesn’t even acknowledge you. I do respect you for realizing that you’re a naive person and realize that you’re too trusting of people. kudos to you why is it as soon as I give you kudos, you had to get on the phone with your mom and get ready to burn the place down? *sighs*

Monday Post 12 *Updated*

Hey Everybody 

It’s Monday. Super Bowl Champions have been crowned (I was supposed to go to a REALLY good party, but something came up).

Jennifer Hudson did an AMAZING job singing the National Anthem.

The Commercials this year were alright. I’m intrigued by the new Star Trek, saddened by not getting 3-D glasses to watch the commercials , and perplexed by the “new” “The Fast & The Furious” Movie.

Oh, and I loved the coke commercial with the online avatars.

and the coke commercial with the “A Bug’s Life” meets “Peter and the Wolf“. 

Am I (and the land of the ‘Noles, Rattlers, and Eagles) The only one’s who’s going to miss out on Denny’s kindness ? on Tuesday (2/3/09) they will be giving away FREE Grand Slam Breakfast’s to everyone. Free. Food. ALL of America.

MellownMighty had a warm & fuzzy moment.

I introduced and implemented my facebook stalking new funny facebook status watch. (Don’t forget send me emails by Thursday.

There was bear on bear Violence in an office this week.

I had an interesting photo shoot. 

Finally, I discussed the possibilities of using the BCS system for graduation.

I picked up the “Afro Samurai” game over the weekend. I haven’t started playing it yet, I got other games schoolwork to tend to first.

Ok, I am thoroughly convinced that FISH stands for “Females In Secret Holdings from others”

I was chatting with #5 Last night *rewind* 

A few days before #5 had a mysterious FaceBook status alluding to the fact she had a surprise for a lot of people. Naturally, my “CSI-Senses” were tingling. I started asking questions, but all she would tell me is that it “involved nicknames” and that “a lot of love went into it”.  she also said that #11 might know something about it…

So… 

it’s official, I’m getting a dog. 

Not just any dog, but a dog I actually want.

Yes, this little dark brown ball of fuzz will be MINE. 

I hope…  

He’s a Pomeranian, and I’ve already started thinking of names for him… 

Fuzzmaster sounds like a winner to me … 

 

 

 

 

I’m presented with a few options as far as getting him.

If we buy him now, we could:

1. Try to “sneak” him into our complex and duck the pet fees and additional pet rent.
2. Pay the pet fees and additional pet rent.
3. Let him stay with a “Pet-Godparent” until we move. (is now taking applications)

*sighs* I’m at a crossroad… (NSFW!!!) *OK, here’s the real one*  I would hate to miss out on that ball of fuzz. He’s laid back, he wasn’t yipping and yapping like most “little dogs” like to do. and Mrs Blogmaster thought he was adorable which means she would be happy with him, which means I Win !!! 

What am I to do?
